RAM GOPAL VERMA KI #@##$$%%^

the name is RAMU aka ram gopal verm- a.

the name needs no introduction. ramu is a film maker with a difference. and the difference lies not just in the concept of his films but also in the drama he creates when he is off his director's chair. his personal life, his gutsy and somewhat ridiculous approach towards film making however is least of my concern. but what really bugs me to shunt him is his recent attempt to sabotage the national anthem.

every society has its challenges. India too undoubtedly needs reform. however their are million other respectable ways of bringing out the discontentment. no one can be given the liberty to tamper with the national anthem. and more so using it as background music for one's film is just unacceptable.

what is more disturbing is that the youth actually finds it as a cool means of self expression. tune in to M TV and we find youngsters justifying ramu's antics in the name of " bringing out the reality". the reality and rather a harsh one is that there is a part of the urban Indian - phoren infatuated youth that finds India below its standards. these crib-a-lots consider anyone who says i respect my India for what it is a psycho.

always remember CHANGE CAN ONLY BE BOUGHT ABOUT WHEN WE NOT JUST SEE WHAT WE DON'T HAVE BUT ALSO RESPECT WHAT WE HAVE. IF YOU DO NOT RESPECT YOUR NATIONAL SYMBOLS YOU DO NOT RESPECT YOUR NATION. OUR MOTHERLAND IS OUR PLACE UNDER THE SUN. WHERE NO ONE CAN SPIT AT US BECAUSE OF OUR COLOR. AMERICA WILL ALWAYS BE THEIR AMERICA AND INDIA WILL ALWAYS BE OUR INDIA.

but of course Ramu doesn't want to change any thing. he is just doing all this drama for commercial reasons and tries to play with the discontentment amongst the people. we just don't see it.

  1. Sorry: In advance for the language but no other synonym was adequete...

Anyway i just regret the day Ramu decided to foist his "Ram Gopal Verma Ki Aag" on us.... and to sum it up some wit somewhere said it best when he mused that the title probably missed 2 more words "Gaand Mein" before Aag
